The EVERSTAR mini-keyboard is the perfect companion to your FireTV.

I've tested out a bunch of different wireless mini-keyboards in the past few weeks and this is the one that works best. It controls all of my Android Apps perfectly via the trackpad, the keyboard feels great and makes searches a breeze, it has a programable IR remote built into the back that I use to control my TV and surround system, and it has a backlit keyboard. I can honestly say I haven't picked up another remote control in over a week now. - jekpopulous2

The PlayPad Pro For Amazon Fire TV has the core functionality as the native controller at about half the cost. It is lighter duty both in terms of weight and functionality but if you are looking to have multiple controllers this may be the way to go.

The AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable is the right balance between performance and cost.

The AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet offers a one-cable solution to many of your home entertainment needs. This versatile cable provides high-definition quality for films, TV and games, along with all the benefits of home entertainment networking. You can use this 6.5-foot (2 m) cable to connect your HDTV to your cable box, satellite dish, Blu-ray Disc player and other devices to experience quality audio and video (up to 1080p) from your home theatre. Additionally, the cable allows you to share an Internet connection amongst multiple devices without the need for a separate Ethernet cable for each device (see illustration). Check your device manuals to make sure you choose the right connectors. Above: our cables simplify cabling by combining HDMI with Ethernet in one single cable.
